Circular Community Hubs

Upcircle, in partnership with Cheng San Community Club, piloted a physical circular hub for the residents of Cheng San - Seletar. A physical shop was set up within the Community Club's premises for 6 months and we offered the following:

• Digital donation program for residents to donate books and clothing items

• A fully volunteer-run thrift store to recirculate donated items back to the residents

• Upcycling workshops for various textiles, laptop repair, to multiple audience groups

• Social enterprise model where part of proceeds donated back to the Club's Welfare Development Fund

• Vouchers for low-income families to shop at the store
