Circular Logistics
Logistics is typically one of the most challenging parts of implementing circularity - how do we recover resources without high costs?
Upcircle has partnered with PICK Network to enable drop-off options for takeback programs via more than 1,000 lockers across the island.
This option is currently available with our very own CircularICE program and laptop donation program with our partner, KGS.
We are looking to enable more organisations to implement their circular return systems via our platform.
How it works
1. User access program details
A branded project will be listed on Upcircle app, stating details of the program and how users can participate.
2. User indicates returns
Once users indicate their interest to return items for recycling, they indicate quantities and additional information.
3. Upcircle sends locker PIN
Upcircle will automatically send the users a locker PIN and instructions to drop off their items at any PICK network locker.
4. Upcircle collects items
With our logistics partner, the items deposited by each user will be collected and verified against the user's details.
5. Items sent to recyclers
Upcircle has a network of recycling partners who can manage the end-of-life for your items.
6. Impact report provided
The drop-offs and engagements are tracked via our app platform and physical quantities collected are reported back.
